Até que enfim...MINHA LETTER!!!

Oi gente!!!!
Bem, finalmente terminei minha letter!!! Uhulll!!!

Hello, future host family!

My name is Sabrina, a Brazilian girl and I am 24 years old. I live in a tourist town called Embu, famous for its handicrafts. Every Sunday happens here a "hippie fair" in the central square that welcomes people from all over the world. In addition, the city has great restaurants with international cuisine that is worth visiting. Embu is part of Grande São Paulo and is located 20 minutes from the Capital.

I live with my mother (Rita), my stepfather (Sérgio), my two younger brothers (Bárbara and Lucas) and our dogs (Fred, Xandy and Zora). My mother is 43 years old and she is a public employee. She is competent, truthful and a great example for me and my siblings. My stepdad is 37, he is also a public servant and always makes us laugh because he is very funny. Babi, 15 and Lucas 13 years old are always arguing, you know, teenage stuff. Nevertheless, we have a great relationship and we take care of each other.

My father (Alexandre) is married and lives in another state with my step-mother (Carla). He is a lawyer and she is psychologist. Even with the distance, we see each other often, we are always talking, traveling together, and both support me. I love all my family they are very important to me and thank them for letting me become the person of character who I am.

As I talked about my family, I will talk a little about me. I am organized, agitated, I do many things at the same time. I love sports, especially running and playing soccer. I talk a lot, I like being in contact with people. I also like having my space to think, organize my ideas. I love going to the movies or to the park to make a pic nic, to be with my family, friends and boyfriend. Traveling is something that fascinates me. The world has many beautiful places to be seen and I want to know them.

Now I will tell you about the reasons that made me to want to be an au pair. Well, I'm graduated in Physical Education and have always worked with kids, in hotels, clubs, in the beach, teaching, playing with them and these are the richest experiences I have. The children make us happy, give us energy to start the day, they are loving, true and great companies. There is nothing more gratifying to hear, "Sassá (my nickname), I will never forget those days we spent together were the best of my life!".

I used to work at the hotel for about three to seven days with the kids, so because I stayed with them for so long, the goodbye time was very difficult. They cried and hugged me and I did the same thing. I believe that this exchange of affection, this joy only happen when people love what they do and I certainly love my job and really love being with children. They make me very well. I do not regret a single day of my chosen profession and this decision to become an au pair, because it will be a period which I will be with children (my passion), I will know a family different from mine, another city, another culture. This is what I have been dreaming and it makes me be sure I made the right decision.

That was a little bit of me, of my family, my job. I hope you enjoy. What more I can say to you is I am a calm person, patient and certainly will do my best as I always do, taking care, playing and accompanying the children. Being an au pair is a great dream that now It is going to happen.

Thanks for reading my application and I hope to see you soon.

Sincerely,

Sabrina

Beijos, Sah
